Winchester Art Club
All Painting Courses will be held on Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Littleton Millennium Memorial Hall, The Hall Way, Littleton, Winchester SO22 6QL It is situated in the village just 3 miles north west of the centre of Winchester.  (Map)  Ample free off-road parking.

Courses can be booked at any time up to the date of each course, subject to availability.
Courses are open to non-members at £25 per course, subject to availability..

Saturday 4 February
A Workshop called Landscape with Paul Banning RI
Recommended equipment: Important: sufficient paper, always a problem, 1/4 imp will do
for exercises, but half imperial for finished work. Big brush essential, no 15 or a hake,
water-based paints, boards, easel if used. Paul will bring images to show intentions.
Saturday 4 March
A Workshop called Portraiture with Michelle Buhl-Nielsen
Recommended equipment: Suggest charcoal, pastels if used, boards, easel if used, A2
paper, soft pencil and eraser.
Saturday 22 April
A Workshop called Beach Scene with Christopher Cole
Recommended equipment: it is helpful to have a large "Sumi" Chinese brush and gum
arabic if a watercolourist, and slow drying gel if an acrylic artist.
Christopher  will have suitable brushes to borrow or purchase if required
Saturday 8 or 22 May
Painting Together at Merdon Manor with Alan Trussler
Recommended equipment:  Please bring all sketching gear, i.e. pads/book, paints,
brushes  and weather gear plus chair if used.
Saturday 13 May
A Workshop called Life with Michelle Buhl-Nielsen
Recommended equipment: suggest coloured chalks, pastels, water-based paints, boards, 
easel if used, A2 paper.
Saturday 3 June
A Workshop called Landscape with Jem Bowden
Recommended equipment: suggest water-based paints, paper, brushes, boards, easel, 
images of choice.
